These dogs are not in our care. All enquiries should be made to the contact provided. It is the owners responsibility to choose the new home, transfer the microchip and provide an alternative if the rehome doesn’t work out. We have seen the relevant documents for each dog, as provided by the current owner, however we cannot take responsibility for this rehome. We share the dogs here to promote safe rehoming.
Bon Bon
Bon Bon is between 4-5 years of age.
Bon Bon is the sweetest dog. He is very affectionate and loves cuddles, pats and being on the couch with his people. He will need an owner who is ok with dogs being on the couch with them.
Bon Bon was rescued 2 years ago while I have been living in Qatar. When the war started in the region I decided to evacuate him to Australia to live with my parents, while I will need to return to Qatar. Unfortunately, my parents have a cat and it’s apparent that Bon Bon is not able to be around the cat. He becomes very stressed when he sees the cat and has twice now caught it and bit him. We have tried a dog trainer, separating the pets etc, but without luck.
Bon Bon is an indoor dog who likes to go walkies and occasionally pottering around the yard with his owner. He needs to be in at night.
He loves meeting new people and is super friendly with all. He’s social with other dogs but hasn’t had playtime with dogs without a lead on, so I’m a little apprehensive about how he would go with another dog.
He gets itchy paws when he comes back inside after walking around outside, and he will chew them after. He did have severe skin issues when I rescued him, but this has cleared up and I apply some neocort cream if he gets an occasional hot spot.
I’m just devastated as I thought being in Australia was going to be best for Bon Bon, but it hasn’t worked out that way.
There is an adoption fee of $200 which will be given to the Jack Russell Rescue rehoming centre.

Bruce
Bruce is an 11-Year-Old Jack Russell Terrier Looking for a Loving Home
It breaks our hearts to be looking for a new home for Bruce, as he has been a much-loved member of our family for many years.
Unfortunately, due to changes in our family, we need to find him a home where he can be happy, safe, and thrive.
Bruce is an affectionate 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who loves spending time with his people. He’s happiest soaking up pats, cuddles and attention, and enjoys being close to the adults he trusts.
Bruce would be best suited to a home with adults or families with children over the age of 10. While he has always been wonderful with our older children, he is not safe around young children. Since our toddler became mobile, Bruce has shown concerning behaviour towards him, including barking, baring his teeth and jumping at the screen door. Because of this, we feel it is only fair and responsible to find Bruce a home without young children.
Bruce also prefers to be the only pet, as he does not get along well with other animals.
A few years ago, Bruce injured one of his knees, so while he still enjoys getting out and about, he is happiest with shorter walks, as longer walks can cause him to limp.
Bruce still has so much love to give and deserves a home where he can enjoy his senior years surrounded by care and companionship.
Due to our family circumstances, we need to find Bruce a new home as soon as possible. Our priority is finding someone who understands his needs and can offer him a safe, loving environment.

Tilly
Introducing a happy, loyal, sociable, playful, fun, cuddly, dog friendly, smart, security conscious Jack Russell
3yr.8mths old desexed female, microchipped, vaccinated.
Happy inside or outside. Loves the dog park and playing with other dogs and owners.
Tilly thinks everyone is there for her because she’s so special. Good with children but little ones may find her a bit over enthusiastic at first.
Unfortunately she has been diagnosed with Addison’s disease. Tilly can live a normal life expectancy with medication. She requires 2 ml of medicine nightly, which she has taken to ok especially with a treat afterwards. Regular check ups to monitor her.
I’m a senior lady with health issues and unable to keep this little love. She’ll go along with whatever you want and loves to please, play, sit on your lap, by your feet, in the sun or on her cushion. She sleeps through the night.

Buddy
Buddy is 4 years old.
He is nicknamed ‘sir lick a lot’ because his tongue is always trying to lick something. He is so lovable and loves people. Buddy doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. I have never heard a growl from him or any type of negative behaviour as such.
We are a busy family and have had Buddy since he was 8 weeks. Over that time I’ve tried many things to assist Buddy better but I believe he will be suited to another family.
Buddy needs someone to be home MAJORITY of the time as he barks excessively when bored or under stimulated. I believe if he could be ‘mans best friend’ and be with his owner all the time, he would be suited to a home with no other pets however he is good with other dogs , just competitive which I notice more barking stems from to.
Buddy has terrible food manners and will scoff anything he sees.
He wants to be close to humans constantly and makes everyone smile.
He is fantastic with children also and loves to cuddle up for a sleep with his loved ones.
I would love a home for Buddy where we could keep in touch and potentially visit from time to time as this isn’t an easy decision.
Buddy is very loyal to me and that’s why I need to make a decision in his best interest. Our other dogs are content to laze around and sleep with no stress but that life isn’t for Buddy. I love him so much that I want what’s best for him.

Sharkie
Sharkie is a 7-year-old tan and white de-sexed male with short and smooth hair. Born July 2018 weighing around 8.5kg. He was adopted at age 2 from an Animal welfare centre and was loved for 5 years until his owner sadly passed away. He is looking for his new forever home.
Sharkie needs a home where he will have company most of the time. Best living with no other dogs, no other pets or young children.
He is used to living indoors and loves visitors and company, lap cuddles, belly rubs, head pats, going for a walk, playing with his toys, sitting in the sun in the window and hanging out at home with his owner.
Sharkie needs a calm, caring and loving environment. Someone with experience with dogs who understand the breed and are willing to take on Sharky’s individual needs. Must be available and willing to put in the time and effort to gain Shark’s trust and continue to support his needs.

Hi, I’m Charlie – the Wonder Dog!
Hey there, humans! I’m Charlie, a 5-year-old Jack Russell x Tenterfield Terrier, and I’ve got
energy for days! I live for ball play and fetch, so if you’ve got a ball, I’m your guy.
I love the water, chasing flies and birds outside, and I can burn off energy like nobody’s business.
Energy is my middle name, but don’t worry I’m also super loving and will happily curl up on your lap at night while we watch TV.
I’m smart and food-driven, so training is a breeze. I know all my basics: sit, stay, wait, touch, roll over, spin around, and I even know my place/mat/bed. I can be a little barky and jumpy when new people arrive, but once they’re inside, I quickly settle down.
I’ve had some adventures too. I’ve gone to the dog park, had a holiday at the farm at Take the Lead, and played with other dogs off lead. I used to live with Eddie, and we’d get a bit too excited at the door together now I’d do better as an only dog, so I can have all the attention to myself.
I’m best suited to an active family or couple who can keep up with me, but I can also be left home alone and use the dog door to toilet outside. I’m crate trained. I haven’t been tested with cats or small pocket pets, and I’m probably better with older kids who aren’t rough.
I am currently living with a family in Dernancourt, and to take me home a small donation of $100 will be needed.

Ziggy is a typical Jack Russell—energetic, curious, and independent. He enjoys playing fetch, especially with small balls, and one of his favourite activities is chasing after a ball that Dad hits with a golf club.
He’s generally well-behaved and responsive to commands, though when off-lead, his instinct to explore takes over. He will thoroughly inspect his surroundings until he’s satisfied he’s sniffed everything.
Ziggy has a strong sense of routine and is quick to let us know when we’re late home or when his meal is delayed. He uses a distinct bark to communicate his displeasure and expects consistency in his daily schedule.
He can be particular about his space. If he’s resting in his bed and someone tries to pet him, he may growl to indicate he prefers to be left alone. Despite his small size, he does not enjoy being picked up.
Ziggy is especially fond of adults and enjoys curling up on a lap when he feels comfortable. However, once settled, he prefers not to be disturbed, so we often leave him to rest in his bed.
Ziggy would be best suited to a home with adults or older teenagers who understand his boundaries and respect his routines. He thrives in a calm environment and would do best as the only pet in the household.
