Roger is a rough coat tan and white male JR mix aged 1yr.

He has come to us from another shelter and is now looking for a new home.

He is quiet in his run and just watches the world go by. He can be wary at first but quickly warms to gentle kindness.

He can be a little worried about the lead, so taking it slowly and encouraging and rewarding will help him overcome this.

He knows to sit for a treat and takes them politely but being a young dog, he will need continued guidance, with security, routine, repetition and rewards with lots of love and patience.

It’s possible that he may go with another female dog but they would need to be able to meet at our shelter.

Roger is best suited to a family with teenage children, in a quieter home where people have the patience to give him the time he needs to feel safe and secure. He needs a family who won’t force him to do things he is uncomfortable with, like meeting lots of different people and other dogs on walks and playdates. He is happiest with a quiet lifestyle, with people he knows and trusts.

He comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and lifetime registration in in NSW for $600
